Increasingly, we are seeing that the true source of peace, wisdom and happiness lies within, not without. That is why many people are turning to practices such as yoga and meditation to bring more calm and relaxation to their busy, often stressful lives.
In this introductory workshop, we will explore what it means to be more "present" in daily living. What are the benefits, and what are some simple yet effective tools, techniques and resources. We will discover that the key to living a full and empowered life is simply living the life that is already here.
Bring a yoga mat, water bottle and a journal for personal reflection.

Mary Beth Bezzina, MSc, OT Reg (Ont)
Karen Zehnal is a retired occupational therapist with over 30 years experience in health care and rehabilitation. She has spent the last several years exploring, through the lens of science and spirituality, the evolution of consciousness both in humanity and at the level of the individual in daily living.
Mary Beth Bezzina is an occupational therapist who discovered her inner passion when she was invited to participate in a Canadian-funded training and mentorship project in Rwanda. She coaches individuals and teams, assisting them to take their passion and talent to the next level through the activities and pursuits that bring purpose and joy to their lives.
