The London Arts Council is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and the creative vitality of London. Embracing the potential of Innovation Works to help promote, encourage, and foster the development of art and access to art in the city, LAC was an early Innovation Works adopter and collaborative partner right from the beginning.

The London Heritage Council is a not-for-profit cultural heritage umbrella organization whose mission is to inspire, nurture and manage innovative initiatives through collaboration and coordination in the region. The London Heritage Council has been a collaborative partner working to help bring Innovation Works to life.

Emerging Leaders focuses on the retention, development, and engagement of emerging talent as a means to a more vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic London community for the future. Passionate about new models of cross-sectoral leadership, mentorship, and the building of bridges and relationships, Emerging Leaders enthusiastically embraced Innovation Works as founding partner.

London Community Foundation is dedicated to improving communities across London and Middlesex County through collaboration, strategic leadership, and innovative solutions to charitable giving. Innovation Works was launched with the help of a Community Vitality Grant from the Foundation to carry out a feasibility and business plan.

We are deeply indebted to our friends at the Centre for Social Innovation for their support and guidance on our journey from dream to reality. As pioneers in the social innovation shared space movement, CSI has been an outstanding model and resource for us to draw on, offering assistance ranging from design and operations of the space to partnering with us to build our business management system.

Building on a long history of accompaniment and service with an emphasis on learning, creating community and changing with the times, the Ursulines of the Chatham Union were among the earliest, most passionate and magnanimous supporters of Innovation Works. As a lead sponsor of the project, the Ursuline Sisters share our desire to work together in order to generate systems changing impacts that create vibrant, equitable and sustainable communities.

The leading grant-maker in Canada, the Ontario Trillium Foundation strengthens the capacity of the voluntary sector through investments in community-based initiatives. OTF provided multi-year funding toward capital costs, equipment and programming expenses to create and launch the Solutions Lab and the Community Collaboration Studio.

It’s a mystery to us! But when word got out about what we were aiming to accomplish at Innovation Works, one incredible donor – who wished to remain anonymous – was inspired to offer a substantial donation after hearing about the potential social and economic impact that Innovation Works would generate for London. We offer our heartfelt thanks… (you know who you are!).

The support of the Lawson Foundation spans both the charitable and impact investing realms. As part of their work, the Lawson Foundation uses impact investing strategies which leverage their foundation assets to make intentional investments in social good. As such, the Foundation was a lead investor in our Community Bond which helped to finance the Innovation Works project. In addition, the Foundation made a significant financial contribution toward renovations of 201 King Street.

In appreciation of their generous support, Innovation Works is proud to recognize Canada Life as a founding donor and major contributor to the Canada Life Solutions Lab – a dedicated space for workshops, events and activities where community change-makers from all sectors who are passionate, creative thinkers and risk-takers can develop powerful ways of partnering in order to advance transformative change.

Libro Credit Union recognized early on that Innovation Works would be a space filled with socially minded innovators and creative minds working together to positively transform our community and grow prosperity. It was a natural fit for them to join Innovation Works as both a tenant and a supporter, with a special emphasis on sponsoring our Social Enterprise programming.

GoodLife Fitness has a proud history of helping charitable and not-for-profit organizations for over 30 years. GoodLife views community investments not simply as a responsibility, but as an essential component in building strong and healthy communities. As the former owner of 201 King Street, GoodLife provided both financial and in-kind donations in support of Innovation Works.
